Solidscape MAX2

solidscape-max2-high-precision-3drinter-1024x1024.jpgIn the industry Solidscape is known as the best quality wax 3DPrinter. This machine uses the same printing principle that they first introduced, but during the years they perfectioned it to the highest levels. Like the 3DSystems even Solidscape uses a bi-component wax printing principle, with the difference that Solidscape has only two jets therefore the speed is not the best strenght of this machine.
The advantages of using this 3DPrinter for your models are:

star.png Geometry Freedom: Thanks to the fact that the machine uses a bi-component printing principle, you don't have to build additonal supports to print your models, but the support will be generated by the machine as melt-away component, leaving you the freedom to print any geometry you want;

star.png Easy Castability: The models that comes out of the machine are wax models, so the burnout cycle for the casting is the same used for the old school injected waxes or carving waxes, that means you will be using a very tested bullet proof methodology for your castings, with no limitation of metals to choose from.

star.png Very Smooth Surfaces: The surface quality of the Solidscape models is extremelly high. If your model has areas that are hard to reach or you want to save time and metal, than this is the machine to go;

star.png High X-Y Resolution: Many people when talking about 3Dprintes focus, so much on the Z resolution, missing the point that having a machine that has a great Z resolution, but a low X-Y resolution will bring pretty bad results. Solidscape MAX2 has a stunning (197X197dots/mm) X-Y resulution, that makes it the perfect machine to use when your model has very small features.
